The light is just wrong today, but here's my new design for my Alix nails this week. I was going for an understated red-on-red monotone design...but I think this proves that Murphy's Law is out to get me this week. You see those little silver rounds that form the "chains" the teardrops are hanging from? The ones that are kinda streaked with red, if you look closely enough? Yeah, they started out shiny metallic red...my Zoya top coat just brushed the color right off of them.In any case, the design is much better than that gold-straw-fuzzy stuff, so it's all good. Perhaps next week Murphy will pick on someone else, and leave my nails alone?
