Turquoise Lace

Last week I had to try out some of the new decals I ordered from Nail Art Delights. I got a couple sets that are decals with real lace at the top - and the white parts really are fabric with adhesive on the back. Very cool. I started with two coats of Nocti "Nip/Tuck", my favorite turquoise polish.
Then just to give it a "shimmery" look with a little color, I added one coat of CND Effects "Raspberry Shimmer"...which unfortunately, you can't see the full effect of in the photo I took. But I think you can see that it's more shimmery...
Time for the decals! Here's what they looked like in the package - I'm pretty sure the thicker parts were meant for my tips, but I decided to go the other way with it, putting the little roses at the tip instead.
I sealed them with two coats of Seche Vite topcoat, and cleaned 'em up the next morning.
This photo is probably the truest to the colors - taken in natural light without a flash. I think they turned out rather cute, personally. :-)

Next week, a dark blue manicure with holographic tips and flower decals. After that, I'll start posting some video tutorials, since I have the tripod now.

Until next time, Happy Polishing!
