Easter Flowers

My Easter nails this year didn’t turn out quite as planned…but I did use no less than 3 colors of polish, and real dried flowers in the attempt! But considering I was fighting off a stupid cold all weekend, they didn’t turn out too badly.

I started with 2 coats of Color Club’s Runway Muse, topped with 2 coats of Zoya’s “Erika”. Then I tipped each nail with China Glaze “Tinsel”, and laid the dried flowers into the first coat of Sephora by OPI topcoat. Two more coats of top coat, quick dry drops…..and I ended up with a bubbly manicure.
But it’s not too noticeable, and it was fun working with the dried flowers for the first time. It gave me some ideas for a later spring manicure.

No entries for the Easter contest yet – pictures of the prizes tomorrow…

How pretty! Lots of work to do your nails and you weren't feeling well. Hope your feeling better.

I think it looks great! I don't notice the bubbles at all.

I really need to do something for the contest. I've been so uninspired lately. Sigh :(

Great job. I have some of those dried flowers, but I have yet to use them yet.

Thanks ladies - I'm still not sure this pink is really working with my skin tone, but it's a sheer, so I'll have to try it over some other colors, and see what happens.

Lucy, I'm starting to feel better - just a really annoying cough that won't go away. Thanks for asking!

I'm rather uninspired myself at the moment, but the weather is getting better, and that's bound to help! I need to get inspired on the menu for Easter dinner now...

One entry into the contest so far - keep trying Brooke, I know you'll come up with something! :-)
