First, I received two blog awards last week - thank you! I'll collect them and pass them on here Friday, so stop back then! :-)
This manicure started with those little blue crescent rhinestone moons above. My apologies for the picture quality - for some reason, these colors were just difficult to photograph.
I started with two coats of Avon's "Blue Flare" and "Lagoon" 3:2 nails on one hand, 2:3 nails on the other.
Then I put little "full moons" of "Lagoon" on the darker Blue Flare nails.
After they were somewhat set, I put the crescent moons in the center, letting them create indentations in the Lagoon for a slight 3-D effect.
I used a toothpick to put smaller dots of Blue Flare on the lighter nails.
I had some clear/irridescent small rhinestones with a blue tinge to them. I put those on the darker dots, along with a few on the darker nails for a "star" effect.
Finally, 2 coats of Seche Vite and some clean-up to finish.
I had some tip-pull the next morning, but that isn't too unusual with Avon polish. I should have wrapped the tips with polish, that would have prevented the problem.
I really like how these turned out, and had people stopping me to compliment them all week. So simple too!
Next up, pink and green, I think. Something "spring-y" since the sun is finally out. Until then, happy polishing!

I love this manicure! Maybe cause blue is my favourit colour when it comes to nail polish. Anyway I really liked it. :)
